Altering the feedback line on a VTA boarded ST-70/ST-120 amp
The VTA ST-70 and ST-120 amp kits come with a 7500 ohm feedback resistor. (R7 > LEFT channel and R8 > RIGHT channel) This value has been found to be a good compromise for most applications - giving accurate, smooth tube amp sound and good speaker control

MKIII VTA help with negative feedback.
Is there a value for the negative feedback wire going to the pc board on the VTA MKIII? My second amp performs flawlessly now but the first amp has a low level oscillating buzz and distortion only off the 4 ohm output terminal. I tried swapping tubes.

HT-5 has Horrible, Squealing Feedback! HELP
