HT-20+low gain tubes+single coils= WIN ~clip~
Did a quick little tune using my Peavey Generation tele into my Blackstar HT-20 with 12AU7 tubes. Cab is an open back 112 with WGS Reaper. I did two tracks panned opposite of each other and did a little low and high pass on them and some reverb but thats about it. I was basically messing around with mic placement before recording some tracks for our CD. Tell me what you think!

I have the VTA70 low gain board with three 12AU7's in there. Which socket(s) has the most effect on the sound quality when tube rolling? I've read that 12BH7's can sometimes give better results and I found one in a drawer. Can I use that one along with
I purchased and installed the high gain version of the VTA board for my ST70. I did this because I am running a stacked pair of Large Advents. I am wanting to reduce the gain. Can I just swap tubes and install the 12AU7s?
