GEORGIA was gripped by panic when a TV station transmit a fake news broadcast saying Russian tanks were invading the capital and had killed the country's president.
News channel Imedi TV used footage from the 2008 war between Georgia and Russia to mock up a prank bulletin.
But thousands across the capital of Tbilisi believed they were being invaded.
There were protests at the TV station after it was reveal
