Has anyone had problems with the hinge on this oven ? There is a little safety button that keeps on catching the rim of the bowl and the darn thing won't start !
If I press the button it comes on ok - just won't start with the lid down. Any ideas

Hi all .i purchased my oven from ideal world at xmas .i sent it back two weeks ago as it was not working .seems the problem is with the lid'' more times than not when you closed it the power never come on .iwanderd if any one else has had the same problem
2 queries - how long does the halogen bulb last and how can you clean the metal guard that covers the bulb. My oven has only been used a few times and the metal cover is covered in marks even though I give it a wipe after every use

Have found it easy enough to convert from traditional oven so far. and looking forward to learning more and more about this style of cooking, as it suits

I have used both JML and Coopers ovens and the latter have lasted longest.
