Cambridge Audio Dacmagic
I'm considering getting one of these to hook up between laptop and hi-fi. Apparently it only supports USB up to 48KHz. I don't actually know what this means in relation to sound quality, can someone maybe explain to me in idiot terms! Also, would it improve on the DAC in my Cyrus CD8SE, I would hope not but stranger things etc.

FYI, CMY just started selling CA DACMagic for RM1.5k. Saw one of the unit in Penang Gurney last month. Nice built.
I didn't ask for best price but I believe for 1.5k it is considered a good buy since UK selling around 230 pound.
