Promises and lies is one of my favorite UB40 albums for the simple reason that the recording quality is superb, it just sounds so sweet, the kind of sound you want because it just makes your pride and joy sound so good and makes you realise just why you spent that kind of money on a hifi as you did, the album is clean, smooth and beautifully
