High speed friction drive wheels...?

so I decided to start on a beetle full body spinner using what I have laying around, that beying a few castle creations car motors of various kv from 3800 to 6900

I chose the 3800 motor for torque and after testing the banebots 30d wheels at 40k rpm I now have a new problem besides the giant motor.

at about 10k the wheel grows to about 2" from the original 1-3/8"
