Taiwanese Symbol

Hey Guys, I was on the Taiwan 10th annual Bonsai and Suiseki exhibition website and I frequently came across a symbol that I'd never seen before. If anyone could give me some hints as to what it signifies/represents/mean that would be much appreciated
