Philmore 100-1 5 tube radio kit
I bought a Philmore 5 tube radio kit off eBay recently, and assembled it, using all newer resistors and caps (including Mica's).
I tested all the tubes that came with it in another AA5 chassis (Motorola), to verify that they were good, but unfortunately, I can't get this radio to receive stations.
It powers up, and I get plate voltages (V1 and V2 = 55 volts, V3 = 43 volts, and V5 = 85 volts).

Just finished the recap of this set . Did the resistance checks , continuity test in coils and all tested well . Replaced 1 bad tube . Plugged set in let it run for an hour or so beautiful sound . Installed unit back in set and soldered loop
