Natural finish with rosewood fingerboard
Having looked at this forum and at pics and ads online, I can only conclude that I was incredibly lucky to have found three successive natural-finish T-40s with rosewood fingerboards (and equally unlucky to have had them stolen!) . Interestingly I took my second T-40 to America with me in July 1983 for two months and got invited to a jam session where somebody had the matching T-60 guitar!

When I am ressurecting an older axe, I like to use lemon oil on the rosewood fretboards - let them soak it

hi,
i'm considering new frets for my pantera x390. now the problem: the sides of the fretboard are laquered and i'm afraid to damage this laquer when pulling out the old frets...how probable is this? does somebody have experience with this?

Just tried this last night and it seems to have worked just fine. You know how worn open grain ash finishes such as on the Thunder, can look a bit patchy and forlorn?
Just use some dilute stain to colour any really worn bits and then rub over the whole
